Running A Windows Software On Mac With Bootcamp, Vmware Fusion, Parellel, Etc.?

I’m considering a mac this 2008, a desktop. But, I have one question. I have many softwares such as games, and everything else only for Windows, but if I install Windows XP/Vista in my Mac with Bootcamp, VMware Fusion, Parallels, etc…, then will it be able to run the software, or will it won’t work? Thanks
